From A Rich And Antisocial Perspective To A Cancer And Social Life Death

The world was created in a way that there are social disparities between persons, there those who are blessed to have so much wealth they could ask for and others who each day toil around every corner of the earth to get any means of sustaining their needs.

For Mr. Clerk to have attained so much wealth at the age of 43yrs the future couldn’t have been any brighter, he had three multi national companies which mainly based on oil trade. His life from child hood had always been private and in most dealings he made and indulged himself into, total secrecy was adhered. Nobody in the neighborhood knew him that well or his family and as a matter of fact there was no any social situation or scenario that could have brought him into contact with any of the residence. He was a fortunate man since not only was he a multi millionaire he was blessed with a loving and charismatic wife and two beautiful kids.

Life was very sweet for the clerks and as usual for many filthy rich families their social ratings were very low, there house was situated almost a kilometer away from other houses and was heavily guarded by armed security personnel 24hrs a day. Mr. Clerk due to the nature of his work was fond of travelling around the globe to seal deals and market some of his products and as it is common to human nature there was so much envy surrounding him and his family, ranging from nearby neighbors to business competitors whom he always had an edge over.

All was well until one day on his usual routine he felt a deep pain on his lower abdominal part, on a quick visit to a private doctor it was confirmed that Mr. Clerk had prostate cancer. This was news bound to change his entire life and on thorough examination the worst was revealed, the cancer was at its latest stage meaning it was incurable. It was a sudden wave of misfortune that doomed uncertainty to the life of his Business Empire and young family who were to come into terms with the diver stating news that the sole person they had depended on was practically on the verge of death. His wife wept bitterly on hearing the news and although their kids were too young to understand they felt something was wrong and unusual. The following years that were to follow saw Mr. clerk spend most of his fortune trying to cure his health and within the right of a rich mans philosophy he sort for the best treatment there was in the world. Being a public figure did not help in cooling down the bitter truth about his health and sooner than expected the whole country had heard about his condition.

Many got shocked of the revelation, some pitied him and showed compassion to his sorrows while others were quick to point out that all he was undergoing was as a result of being so rich yet never opening his life or his family’s to the needy and unfortunate. His business empire suffered great losses since there evolved an air of uncertainty over its future prospects. Mr. Clerk’s condition was attributed to exposure of excessive oil fumes and so much radiation.

Before his death Mr. Clerk had contributed quarter of his entire wealth to his neighborhood and opened a cancer foundation center to cater for those affected in the area. His family apologized to the local neighbors and offered an open integration event every month to learn and become social with them.
