From Hero To Zero Due To Temptations
Growing up as the head priest in his home city made father Frank a very public and respected person. He had lived his entire life dedicating his services to the lord and community, fulfilling his mission perfectly he won many affections and honors from all corners of the globe. Many parents had entrusted father Frank with their in depth issues regarding marriages, temptations and even some evil ways that they felt needed spiritual intervention. All who came to father Frank left with satisfaction of the soul for as they say a spiritual word that is divine shall be a lasting meal to the soul.
Many priests in his caliber spoke highly of him for he had proved and achieved so much within a very short time. Lucky was he and as an expected gesture to those who were familiar to his services and works was appointed as a governing priest to three cities which at the time was a very powerful position in terms of authority and responsibility. Father Frank became a fortunate priest and his fame spread out to the entire nation as a diligent and dedicated man of God. However there was one retired priest who had ordained father Frank while he was still a young teenage boy, his name was father Paul. He was the only one who had confessed father Frank and knew some of his weak areas as a man.
Father Frank allegedly had weak self control with small children and in his life before priesthood was involved in an incident that saw him molest two young girls. This was never to be known to anyone except father Paul who had confessed Frank before becoming a father. In his new position father frank was to come in contact and associate with small children and despite his many years of spiritual works the idea raised shivers within father Paul. At his first year as a head priest father Frank gave great services to the people and added good attributes to his already highly respected and fortunate career. This was however to be a short lived attribute since in his third year a case involving defilement at the church arose, the girl aged 13yrs however was unable to identify the culprit since the act was conducted in the darkest place outside the church’s main compound.
The news spread out to different cities around the country and although nobody suspected father Frank one man had his heart on high alert. It was none other than father Paul, he knew the truth could be within his imaginations and that father Frank could have indeed been the defiler. This case was to be followed up by different similar cases and the news became popular around the world. Serious investigations by different security agencies dug the matter up and after 3mnths no positive identification had been made. Troubled at mind and heart father Paul offered his confession to assist with investigations and after a calculated joint effort by proficient state agencies they managed to nail the individual.
Father Frank was the defiler! News spread out around the world causing shock within the priest hood governing council. On further investigation it was found that the priest had infected the children with HIV aids. A fortunate career slummed into a big misfortune and shame; this was the headlines in all the major international media channels. It was to be a strict wake up call to the priest council and too many Christians who had entrusted their entire lives to trusting people regarded highly in the society. Many came into understanding that Trials or temptations never bargains on who to befall, any man or woman can be tempted.
